Why SideClick exists

Practice software drifted somewhere strange: clinicians rent access to their own patient records, held in a vendor's database, priced per feature, exportable grudgingly. SideClick is built on the older, saner idea — the record belongs to the practice. It lives on your machine, encrypted; the software serves it rather than holding it.

The principles we build by

Four rules shape every release, and they're testable claims rather than values-page poetry:

• Local-first — the full practice works with the network unplugged
• Zero-knowledge — servers that touch your data can only ever see ciphertext
• Never hostage — every export path works in every licence state, forever
• Honest marketing — shipped capabilities only, and plain words about limits

The company

SideClick is a small independent software company based in South Africa, serving allied health practices worldwide. Independence is load-bearing: nobody upstream is waiting to monetise your patients' data, because the architecture gives us no way to read it in the first place.
