Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or annual period until you cancel. Cancel any time from the billing portal and keep the service to the end of the period you have paid for. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com; Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders and handles payment, tax invoicing and refunds under our refund policy.
What happens if a licence lapses
Licensing never locks your existing clinical data. Reads, edits, exports (.cfbak, PDF, CSV) and restore work in every licence state, including unlicensed, forever. Your existing data is never hostage.

Nothing is ever deleted. The relay retains queued ciphertext and cloud archives through expiry; a renewed key resumes service in place.
How licences work
Subscription
Renews on its own clock. A 14-day warning before expiry, then a 14-day grace period — renewing is just installing the re-issued key.
Perpetual
Never expires. Its updates-until date caps the update channel: keep the exact version you paid for, forever.
Trial
Full Practice capability for 30 days. No feature crippling — a genuine end-to-end evaluation.
A seat is a named practitioner. Admin, front-desk and auditor accounts are free. Each seat includes 3 enrolled devices. After a downgrade, existing accounts and devices stay fully active — only new grants are blocked. Every desktop in a practice uses the same key.
Verification is offline: after a one-time activation, a licensing-service outage — or the company disappearing — can never lock a clinician out. A licence never carries any patient information.

Does the AI send my notes anywhere?
No. SOAP generation runs on a local model on your own machine. There is no cloud inference — the AI keeps working with the network unplugged.
What happens if my licence lapses?
Your records stay readable, editable and exportable in every licence state; lapsing only pauses growth-side capabilities like sync and new grants. See the full capability matrix.
What does the trial include?
Thirty days of Practice capability, end to end. When it ends, existing records stay fully accessible — an active licence is what allows new patient intake to continue.
How do seats and devices work?
A seat covers one named practitioner and three enrolled devices; admin, front-desk and auditor accounts never consume one. The whole practice installs the same key.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The app is local-first, and after a one-time activation the licence is verified on your machine — an outage on our side can't lock you out.
How do I get my data out?
Export at any time as an encrypted .cfbak backup, PDF reports or CSV — whatever your licence state.
