On a computer, SideClick locks after a time without activity: 10 minutes unless that is changed, and anything from 1 minute to 60 minutes. It can never be switched off. It also locks the moment the computer sleeps, and when you choose Lock now.
Unlock with your password, or with Touch ID or Windows Hello where the computer has it.
The time is set under Settings → Security & Region.
A tablet works like a computer. It locks after the same time without activity, and the time you spend in other apps counts. It also locks when you come back after more than 1 minute away, and when you choose Lock now.
On a phone, the app locks every time you leave it.
In the browser, SideClick locks as on a computer — after a time without activity, when the computer sleeps, and on Lock now — and a reload or a new tab starts locked. Unlock with your SideClick password.
