Appointment Types

The kinds of booking your practice makes, each with a default length and modality, and whether an intake form comes first.

In SideClick: Schedule → Appointment types

Appointment Types are the kinds of booking your practice makes — an initial assessment, a review, a telehealth session. Each sets a default duration and modality for a booking, and whether an intake form is required before the first session. When you book from the Schedule screen, you choose one of these types.

New type asks for a name, a duration in minutes, a default modality — In person or Telehealth — and whether the type requires an intake form. The duration must be a whole number of minutes, from 5 minutes to 480 minutes; the screen says so under the field, and Save stays off until it is.

Each type is listed with its modality, an Intake required badge where that applies, and its length in minutes. Edit changes any of these. There is no delete here: a type stays on the list once saved.

Only someone who may write to the schedule sees New type and Edit; everyone else sees the list.
