In SideClick: Billing → Codes
Billing & ICD-10 codes holds the practice's two code lists: the billing codes you charge and the ICD-10 codes you record. They are practice-wide, and a code added here appears in every picker at once.
Add billing code asks for a code, a description — what the service is called on the invoice — and a default price. Add ICD-10 code asks for a code and a description. A code of your own carries a Custom badge and can be edited. An official code keeps its code and description; only your practice's default price can change, and Edit on it offers the price alone.
Hide takes a code out of the pickers but keeps its history. It stays on this screen with a Hidden badge, and Restore brings it back.
Stars are personal. Star the codes you use most and they sort first in your own pickers and on this screen; nobody else's order changes.
Only someone who may write to billing sees the Add, Edit, Hide and Restore buttons; everyone else sees the lists and their own stars.
The Billing screen uses these codes when you give a billable event its codes before an invoice is issued.
