Notes

Every clinical note you can see, with its status, and where a session's note is signed, amended or co-signed.

In SideClick: Notes

Notes lists the notes you can see, newest first, with the framework they follow and their status: Draft, Review, Signed, Amended or Imported. Open a note to read it, attach a file, export it as a signed PDF, or see its version history.

A new note starts from a session: open the patient, start a session, and write the note there. Signing it records a signature over its content; from then on it cannot be changed, only amended. An amendment makes a new draft from a copy of the note and leaves the original in the history, marked as amended.

An assistant's note is sent for co-signature instead of signed: it waits in Review until the supervising clinician co-signs it or returns it for changes with a reason. A note written by someone who has since left the practice stays as it was; nobody else can sign their draft.

A note from a record that was handed over to you is read-only history; add your own entries after it.
