In SideClick: Settings → My profile → AI model
Model setup downloads and activates the on-device AI model behind note drafting. The download happens once and the model stays on your computer; nothing you write is sent anywhere to be processed.
You rarely need this screen. Turning on AI note generation under Settings → My Profile downloads and activates the model in the background, with progress in the corner of the screen. Come here when that failed — the corner card links to it — or to see which model is active.
Download model fetches the model and verifies its integrity against a known checksum; the screen shows how much has been downloaded, and Cancel stops it. A download that fails the check is marked as rejected and the screen says why; Try again starts over.
Activate model approves the downloaded model and loads it. The screen then shows AI Model Active, with the model's name, its version and Integrity: Verified.
The model drafts nothing for a patient without that patient's consent for AI use, and every draft is reviewed and signed by you before it becomes part of the record.
This screen is on the computer only; a phone or browser never shows it.
