The phone app is one of your devices. Sign in with the same email and password; approve it from another of your devices or with your recovery code, and from then on it identifies itself with its own device key. It works the same on an iPhone and an Android phone.
The app locks every time you leave it. Where the device has it, Face ID, Touch ID or a fingerprint unlocks it; your SideClick password always does — never the phone's own passcode. A fingerprint or face added to the phone since you last typed the password is refused until you type it again. A wrong password waits a growing while and never erases anything.
My day shows today's appointments with the gaps between them. From a patient's record you can read, write notes and capture a photo, a voice memo or a scanned document. A capture is sealed on the phone before it leaves it and sent to the sync server, in the background where the phone allows; your computer picks it up and can transcribe the memo there.
What waits for the computer: new patients, intake, invoices, exports, backups and the AI features. Seats are bought and changed on the website or on a computer; the phone app has no purchase links.
An iPad or an Android tablet works like a computer for layout and for its lock: the same time without activity, counting the time spent in other apps, and a lock when it comes back after more than a short while away.
Removing a phone, or marking it lost, is done on Settings → Your devices from any of your devices.
