In SideClick: An invitation link
A practice owner or a clinic owner invites a person by email. The link in the email opens this screen on a computer, on a phone or in the browser.
Before you sign in, it shows who invited you, into which practice or clinic and in which role — practice owner, associate, assistant, front desk or bookkeeper — or an invitation to bring your practice into a clinic. If a seat on their subscription comes with it, the card says so. A clinician's invitation also says whether the practice lets members keep their own copy of what they write.
Sign in with the address the invitation was sent to; the screen remembers the invitation and brings you back to it. With no account yet, create one with that address and choose I've been invited to join a practice, so no practice is created for you. The invitation can be answered only once your email address is confirmed.
Accept joins you to the practice; your access arrives when an owner's device is next online. If the seat that came with the invitation was no longer free, you keep your own trial or subscription. An assistant is told who their supervising clinician is. Accepting a clinic's invitation names which of your practices to bring in. Decline closes it.
An invitation that was withdrawn or already answered says it is no longer open. Without a link, the screen lists every invitation waiting for you.
An invitation can carry the date your membership ends on. This screen does not show it; once you are in, Practice and people shows you as member until that date.
