In SideClick: Consent
Consent Management shows, for the chosen patient, each purpose the practice records consent for: storing health records, AI-assisted note generation, sharing records with other providers, and research. Each purpose shows its regulatory basis, whether it allows AI use, and its status: active, withdrawn, expired or Not granted.
Grant settings choose how the next consent is recorded: the legal basis (Consent, Legitimate Interest, Contract or Legal Obligation) and the signature (Verbal, Written or Digital). Grant records a consent for a purpose under those settings; Withdraw ends an active one. History under a record lists every event on it, granted, withdrawn, expired or an erasure, with its time.
Withdrawing the consent to AI note generation stops the on-device AI from drafting that patient's notes; the session screen asks for the consent again before it generates. The patient's record records or withdraws this one consent too.
Consent to sharing is what a copy to another profession or a handover needs; the Send a copy and Hand over dialogs on the patient's record record it on the spot when it is not on record yet.
Right to erasure points to the DSAR screen, where an erasure request is logged and carried out. Consent is managed on a computer.
